I don't play guitar so I'm not sure if this will be helpful at all but my friend once described guitar melodies as shapes. Maybe try thinking of your solos as just a juxtaposition of shapes? Dunno. Thought I'd try. In any case I like what you did with soro/monk. It's a nice mixture of jazzy tones and riffs. Love monk :)

This is actually kind of funny. Something about this song tickled my dick. I think it had something to do with the syncopations. It feels like such a fun fucking trip to be dragged around in dubstep by that 9/8.

Sick track! Massive sound. That bass was crazy wide. Those octaves sounded nice but the first time I heard that part I thought the track was clipping. I realized though that it was just the way the hats sounded.

On clipping, the track noticeably clips when your using that lfo. I'm not sure why they do that but for that brief instant where the lfo is introduced/ creates that clip you can automate a duck in the synths volume to evade it. At times that little sound becomes kind of nice though. It adds a nice little rhythmic step. Dunno, your call.

Again, massive sound man. G'luck in the comp sir :)

I love the vibes I get from this. This is a really weird piece. Those rhythms are all loopy and syncopated. The melodies are all dissonant and shit. Love it. I've got nothing really negative to say. Good work mister :)

Moby Cock

Moby-Dick, also known as The Whale, is a novel first published in 1851 by American author Herman Melville. Moby-Dick is considered to be a Great American Novel and a treasure of world literature. The story tells the adventures of the wandering sailor Ishmael, and his voyage on the whaleship Pequod, commanded by Captain Ahab. Ishmael soon learns that Ahab seeks one specific whale, Moby Dick, a ferocious, enigmatic white sperm whale. In a previous encounter, the whale destroyed Ahab's boat and bit off his leg. Ahab intends to take revenge.

In Moby-Dick, Melville employs stylized language, symbolism, and metaphor to explore numerous complex themes. Through the main character's journey, the concepts of class and social status, good and evil, and the existence of gods are all examined as Ishmael speculates upon his personal beliefs and his place in the universe. The narrator's reflections, along with his descriptions of a sailor's life aboard a whaling ship, are woven into the narrative along with Shakespearean literary devices such as stage directions, extended soliloquies and asides. oby-Dick has been classified as American Romanticism. It was first published by Richard Bentley in London on October 18, 1851 in an expurgated three-volume edition titled The Whale, and weeks later as a single volume, by New York City publisher Harper and Brothers as Moby-Dick; or, The Whale on November 14, 1851. Although the book initially received mixed reviews, Moby-Dick is now considered one of the greatest novels in the English language.

The story is based on the actual events around the whaleship Essex, which was attacked by a sperm whale while at sea and sank.

I havn't checked out your stuff in a while but damn is this shit hot. i love the idm/ glitch vibe mixing in there with some serious dub/ dnb. The drums are nice and full, plus the rhythmic syncopations are sex. My only complaint is that the mix is kind of muddy. I think the choir pad is a little too loud and the track noticeably clips at one or two spots. other than that, im glad to of heard this man. stick to this style. it's sex :)

Yeah but thanks to you and nub for telling me the secrets about layering that my kicks are so darn sexy and full.
And yeah i had trouble getting the sample as less muddy as possible. Mixing is my darn weakness but im still getting there :D

cool track! I really liked this but I got a few things for you I'd think about trying...

i thought the lfo on your lead synth could have been way slower. save that lfo rate for special occasions. that drum kit sounds like it can use a few layers. Find some more kit pieces you like and layer them on top of your current sound for a really phat sound. im not a fan of the amen so much anymore. it was nice to hear a different kit in there but if those drums are midi, try swapping them out for another sound or try layering those too.

I might recommend layering a sub bass under that reese. I don't really hear too much in the way of bass frequencies. You could take the midi from the lead and just copy/ paste if your lazy like me.

Those are just some suggestions but feel free to ignore them if you want. You got a cool sound here though and I think this track would really bennefit from some of these ideas...
