Just wait till you see some of the trouble he's caused from not being careful. Dudes a wreck.

I enjoy the style. I think Jo's hips got bigger again. Keep making them bigger I guess.

Thanks for uploading these here. I recently went through the tumblr and read the epic thus far. I love these characters :D

Aw dang thanks!! I'm so glad

LOL. I saw this a little while ago. If you had said you drew this at pico day I would have laughed so hard. Nice Grant. Effing 10/10. Perfect ass.

WooleyWorld responds:

I mentioned to one fellow who knew it but most people knew me from the Bob Ross thing over there.

Thumbs up dude. Nothing more to say. Love it.

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks!

Dude, I'm fucking in love with this. I typically will hate anything "anime-ish" on principal but this is a really stylized take on it that leaves a shit ton of conceptual room for the viewer to add to the conversation. I could literally photoshop him saying anything. It's an unintentionally hyper collaborative piece. This could pop up anywhere.

The total disregard for lines in favor of total cell shading is really cool. Even the background takes on an awesome cell shaded quality. Dude, this is a really strong piece.

Cyberdevil responds:

Sounds like something someone should make a photoshop topic on some time. :) Thanks for the appreciation!

Ar...

I looked through your posted work and I'm curious if you've ever tried working with charcoal? You can get some really dynamic tones if you learn to switch off using vine and compressed charcoal with a few different types of erasers. Pencils are nice because the fine tip forces you to focus on those details, but learning how to get those details with charcoal can be really rewarding when you figure out a way to get those darks down really hard. Given the medium though, there's really nothing I can say about this other than good job!

Etheria responds:

ahhh charcoal.. I've experimented with it before when I went to art school over the summer. I'm not too fond of it yet - its quite temperamental and difficult to control, but you're right, you can achieve a greater range of shades from it. I shall try again :]

hmmm...

I still can't tell if he's a man or a woman... it's a great portrait, the contrast though very specific is purposeful and adds a nice dynamic... but his features are almost as feminine as his behavior. When it comes right down to it, I still think you two are playing games with us... Soro is actually a girl. I took off one point for drawing her with facial hair. Girls don't have that.

Citrina responds:

What about those bearded ladies at carnivals?

Imagine being Zuckerberg getting coached and taking notes like "Hitler salute bad" when all you want is to do is control the day-to-day moment-to-moment thought process of millions of people.
