Taffy taffy taffy TAFFYYYYY!??!

Har! Really quite a chill and dramatic track you got going here. The drums create a sense of urgency while the melodies set up an aura of relaxation. Really, you deserve a high five. Is there going to be a more "complete" version?

Rawrthaas responds:

maybe lol

Guh! I love this glitch rhythemness! It's so...arousing...I mean...stimulating. Keep making stuff like this. It's so cool man. GUHH! Arr, voted five.)

LJCoffee responds:

Arousi... ehem - stimulating? :)

Glad you liked it - I really like making this type of crap... I mean...stuff

More tracks like it are in the the works - I just want to get a few other details straightened out first - the feedback from this piece has allowed me to find out what was needed and I'll be trying to incorporate some of that stuff in the future - if I can.

purrrrr

You sly bastard. I didn't know you could do trance too. Honestly, this track was insane. It was so different than any of your other tracks. I really liked it when the four to the floor dropped off into that experimental glitchy sounding beat. The synth melodies were all classy and clean. This really is a quality track. Good job :)

I like you Quarl.

Taffy flavored taffy.

Hmm, this really isn't a dnb track but I won't let that from skewing my judgments. Others will however. I honestly think this belongs in the video game section...in any case this was an interesting listen. Actually...if you speed it up to 170-180 bpm and throw in a few breaks/ drum fills this could still be a dnb...Ivan Ether style. I thought the melodies were nice and relaxing. The drums got a little boring, I might suggest getting a little more varied there. Also, the snare sounds a little weak...this could be a really good track with some tweaks. Keep making music :)

Ps, you're jumping circle games were pretty fun. Make ten more!

joshuaskillsrobles responds:

Thanks, i will keep all this in mind for the next song. And for the jumping circle thingim making part 5. Who knows if ill make more, and if i do, i will change the styles that they will be made.

Taffy flavored sounds.

Hmmm. This is really nice menu music. If I made games instead of music videos, i'd deffinatly use this for something. The light sounds in the back are pretty cool and soothing, but I think the drums really over powered that stuff. I'd turn them down a bit. Also, you can mix up the drums a bit more by adding some aux percussion for some cool polyrythems. Just my opinions though.

Taffy.

That was really good. I've never heared any of you're songs before, but i'll deffinatly look into some more after this track. I loved the progression alot. This track was ace and wow, over six minutes? That's alot of work. No wonder the quality of the synth is so fuzzy. Really that would have to be my only gripe. Good job. I fived.

Dj-Ene responds:

Thanks mate:D well this song is kinda an breaking point for me, so imo the songs before this one lacks several things:)

And yea had to reduce the quality to 80 kbps (!) wich is really low, for it to fit on newgrounds. But you're welcome to check out my MySpace profile for a version sampled in 192kbps.

and cheers for the 5, I've been zeroed alot lately:(

Arrr, another neat track taffy.

Nice opening guitar line, really cool finger picking line. The chords where nice. The harmonized vocals were sexy. The voices didn't off set me really, and they were actuly somewhat soothing to listen to compared to some of the vocals I've heard about. My only complaint really on this song is that the lyrics were just so...generic and not really too interesting. I'm a poet though, so I over analyze lyrics often. I'm also a drummer...so you can immagine how much I missed the lack of percussion :( Eh, oh well.

I'm so turning this into a cartoon...

Yeah. I just have to. I'm allready working on three other projects, but i'm gonna have to put those on hold to play with this. It's just too funny. I'm totaly gonna animate some guy screwing the exhaust pipe... yeah...

Nostrap responds:

yes do it.

GUH!!

Thanks for your vote, Quarl! You voted 5 for [[=Ealif=]], keeping its score at 5.00.

You sir, are my idol. I loved the way this track progressed. The sounds, the guitars, the synths and the vocals! Just,...GUH!!! The drums had some really cool rythms too. It never got predictable, and I love that in a rythm section. GUHHHHH!!!!!!

!!!

Nostrap responds:

GUUUUH SON!!!

Hmmm, taffyyyyy

I didn't like how random that one vocal sample thing was right at the begining. It's not like there isn't a place for it there, but it was just a little too randomly located. The hi hats at the begining were nice. The drums at 116 reminded me of Hive. Really cool. Despite the fact that the synth was the same at that part as the previous section, it just didn't sound as good, probably because it contridicted the drums too much.

If the vocal sample was placed at the same place the second time around, I didn't notice. It sounded like it was placed better, or at least it accented the hi hats better. I'm not really too sure. After hearing the vocal sample 100 times, it starts to get old. Sample some more vocals or something. Also, i'd like to know if this is a complete track. All your other songs have just been previews :)

In any case this was a good track. I'm voting five, but I think this might have deserved a four...whatever. You worked hard.
