Gah!

Jeez I love your stuff. I tried to explain how an electronic song could be glitchy and peacefull to a friend of mine the other day, but he just laughed. He didn't really get what I was trying to describe. In anycase, I think I just found a song I can to show to him. So good, so glitchy and so peacful. Honestly, I want to do something like this so bad, you have no idea! If I can just figure it out...

In anycase, there really isn't anything I wdidn't like about this. Keep pumping out songs. I download all of them. Oh, and i'm not sure whether or not you saw, but I used you're song "crowd controlled" in the credits of my latest cartoon. I'm pretty sure I sent you a pm.

Tee hee :P

This song is like butter in my ears only more harmonic and stuff. You should totaly remix this 100 times ;) You got my 5, my 10's and my downloads...did I say downloads? I ment to say download...whatever...it's just so good. Keep making silly songs, they make me laugh and giggle and squirt milk out of my nose.

Sound music for Internet people

Ha! Those are some slick polyrythems. The sounds were all tight and squishy. That sub synth bass held things together like glue until every thing went all glitchy. That section really threw my mind into a frenzy! I was reviewing this song as I was listening to it, and that section took me right off guard. It moved into a 4 to the floor house beat, and yeah...this song is simply inspiring.

Deffinatly worth a download/5/review.

LJCoffee responds:

Hey, thanks! I'm glad that you liked it. It's definitely one of the stranger tracks that I've done. I was a little worried that it might be a bit too bizarre for most of the NG crowd but it seems to be doing alright so far.

Thanks again!

Taffy.

Har, deffinatly a really cool track. I can invision a seriuos boss fight going on here. If I was into flash games i'd deffinatly use this track, but sadly, I only animate music videos. :(

The ambient noises were fine and dandy, the squeeks didn't off set me too much, and the drums were pretty tight. The snare fills were really cool. All in all i'd say you ded a really good job here.

Rawrthaas responds:

lawl. as for the squeaks they were actually an instrument, but I guess that coulda used moar work~

thanks for your review!

Sexy piece, right now!

AR, tis a good track with some sexy sounds here and there. The beats are simple, but smooth. They fit the song real well. The voice fx stuff was a nice touch and incorperating the original track was awsome. I really digged that. It gave the song a really funky feel to it.

Funky track, you got my 5 and a download.

Like taffy, but chewier.

Looks like you have someone mass downloading your stuff and voting you down. Umm, you might want to send Tom Fulp or someone an email...

In anycase, on to my review.

You got another really cool track. It was mellow, and laid back, but really dramatic and strong at the same time. Your glitches are always the best. The drums fit, but I felt they were alittle boring and not really strong enough. The synth melody that came in at around 2:30 was tight and sexy. x100 points for the fade out. It transisioned real smoothly into your "Wind Over" track on my iTunes.

You got my 5, and my ONE download. Damn kids, lol.

dj-padman1 responds:

nice review title ;)
Thanks for your concern about the downloads, but I'm not stressing out about it. Tom Fulp wouldnt have the time to be concerned about a couple of 12 year brats acting the fool.
Thanks for the feedback especially, most helpful :)

Niceness.

Your stuff always kicks so much ass. I love the sounds and glitches and things. The drums are rock solid and accent everything else real nice like. Theres so much going on here. 5/5

Quite impressive.

You ask for a review in the description, and despite having a really kick ass song, you got none. What's that about? lol.

In any case, I have to say that this is probably my favorite song of yours. The polyrythem's are really nice and dramatic. The meodies are quite fluent and smooth. Overall this song has a very soothing underwater feeling to it. It's interesting, I never realised how short most your songs were until you pointed out that this one was your first over three minutes.

Good job with this track, you should be proud of it.

arg, pirates

I love these tracks you make. So cool and glitchy. There really isn't any thing I can say about this song other than how good it is. I'm really curious, do you make your own sound effects or do you sample them from random places?

dj-padman1 responds:

thanks for the review! Glad you liked the glitch, I was going for some frantic Aphexy vibes. To answer your question, all the synths are played. I wont say they are made from scratch, but they're usually heavily modified presets. And the percussion, you're right, random places! Then I degrade them, crush them, whatever to make them take me to the treasure!
later.

Har!

Ha. I loved the horns on this track. Deffinatly reminded me of an Ez-rollers track. This was a bit longer then your other DNB tracks, which I liked. The rythem was solid, never really got too complicated though, which may have been for the best...I think some more variety could have spiced this track up a bit, but I honestly couldn't do better. Keep uploading tracks man!

I'm here for a long time, not a good time.
