Water out west is an interesting subject. So you can't even keep water even if it happens to melt in your yard? Is drilling a well not feasible because of your location or is it something you can't afford at the moment?
Drilling a well would cost $80,000 and there was no guarantee we'd even hit water, we would just be out $80,000. Massive risk, hence all the cisterns and such! Water might be 800 feet down. Sorry, I just edited this like 5 or 6 times because my husband keeps correcting me...
