This flight is not step one. Several months of study and training went into this launch, awesome view ^·^

Learning how to fly at the moment @ Lookout Mountain Flight School. This was the second flight on the big training hill. Fourth or fifth landing I came in on my knees but the morning grass was super wet and just kind of slid in. I wasn't aware that my boyfriend was filming these. Lucky he didn't get my slide landing :D

UPDATE: I just got cleared for my first solo mountain launch. I'm gonna be running off a cliff with altitude tomorrow, 1,500 ft-ish

I've been meaning to upload this video clip to my news feed but I'm lazy as all fuck. This is from the 2017 North American Beatbox championships. There were about 110 some contestants and my name got called first. The video was shot on a friends cell phone from the front row. This was my first time in front of audience of my peers. This was from day two of the event, open eliminations. Day three saw tournament style knockout rounds from the best of day two. Being a new face I didn't aim to get past this round but the experience and friends made there were well worth the experience :)

Remember peeps, "Inqk" is my beatbox alias. Better phonetics for stuffing into rhythms :]

Was filming beats to capture new techniques and improve my sound. You can't really get better at something unless you analyze it. I find that musicality improves if you record somehow. Recording lets you nit pick the details. Got a lot wrong with this take but it's hard to get a "good take" on an iphone while standing in a closet. Happy practice :')
