Awesome man! Simply fucking awesome! Your colors always rock, and the animation was solid. Fuck the people who give you a low score because they simply "don't get it." Who does that? really.

New flash is out, and I'm a little iffy about a few things in it...in anycase, this is a decent tutorial with some nice substance in it. I hear the kids like to learn about action scripting...ar. The layout was really nice here. Pretty colors. I would recomend this to a flash newb, but I don't think there is enough information in here to really teach him anything he could learn in any of the other tutorials out there. You did state that the tutorial didn't cover everything, when it reality, it barely covered anything. Just the key basics.

I'd say the most useful section of this tutorial was the tips section. New flash animators should really take note of al that, because it's extreamly true. Overall, it's obvious that you put alot of work into this, and the basic substance of your tutorial by no means reflects your abilities. You did a good job.

Hey mrkennedy2. You spelt retarded wrong. Before you insult someone elses work, think about what you are saying.

Ahem, this was a nice short. The animation was really smooth. It wasn't that interesting in terms of orignility or story or anything like that, but it was amusing enough. Alot of my animations on deviant art are shot out in two days, so I know the kind of work that goes into something like this. Really, don't pay any attention to the 14 year olds on this site. They don't know what a real cartoon is. They just think they do because they waste their free time watching tons of random animations that wander through the portal, leaving shit comments as they please.

Good: Colors (grey, brown, sexy, always a good combination), lines (smooth), sound (for the most part, I didn't get to hear alot because the toon was too short), frame consistency (no over loads)...

Bad: Clouds (some go one way while the others go another I figured out that the cloud was supposed to be following the boy, but I think it would have looked better if you just left the boy without a cloud, also, clouds arn't solid. Him landing on a solid cloud is a little weird.) The text at the begining was too long (I was starting to get bored), the character running was not fluent enough, try removing some of the extra frames.

I just want to know, is there gonna be a finished version of this, or is this it? Because I'd love to see the rest of this down the road.

What the hell? You can't just NOT animate Link and Zelda doing it. Regardless of whether or not they are little pixel people, I really wanted to see them get down!

Also, I would have ended the cartoon with Zelda getting pregnant. That would have been funnier if you ask me. Also, in relation to link and decapitation, I have a similar happening in my "Super Minority" toon. Except Link is the one doing the decapitating. Erm, don't watch it if you're easily offended.

But about your flash, seriously, nice job.

All right. The animation was spot on, the sound was good (along with the voice acting). Heck, i'd even say you got anime down real nice (you using a pad to draw with?). My only real complaint was that the pacing was too quick for me. It wasn't until about five minutes into the toon when I finnaly just gave up with trying to figure out what the hell was going on and just focused on trying to enjoy the pure randomness. Horay!

Im gonna go watch the first toon. Hopefully that might clear up my confusion. Or it will just make me more confused...whatever.
