It's nice, but you should play with it some.

I think you should switch the colors on the text on the bottom. Start with yellow instead of starting with orange. The way it is just reduces the power of the word Shock, but perhaps rather than alternation, you should leave SHOCK in all yellow, with ART in all orange. Aside from bringing further prominence to the word SHOCK, it also shows that QUARL is an interlacing of shock and art, which I believe you are.

Your background, while mysterious and visually appealing, isn't very interesting, nor does it tell me much of what's inside the album. Such a seemingly arbitrary design won't get much more than a glance. The average consumer might look at it because it stands out, but since it doesn't tell them anything, they'll be less likely to read further into it. It looks like a coffee table book about screensavers. There isn't even anything to tie it to music because the lines don't appear to be vibrating properly. If anything, the lines should be vibrating strongly, with periodic spikes in amplitude to match your musical styling.

Perhaps if you make some of the lines come together to form a very serious speaker, it'll provide a place for the consumer's eye to draw toward, instead of garnering a passing glance. Not centered, probably on the left, and the lines around it should be vibrating like a music visualizer.
